Petra's broad experience, organizational skills, positive attitude and exceptional eye for detail made her an obvious choice for business development and marketing.
Petra was born in South Korea and raised in Sweden. Her childhood summers were spent sailing in the Baltic Sea. After finishing high school her zest for life and curiosity for other cultures led her to the United States, where she lived for 12 years. She received a BFA in Fine Arts at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Working within the photography industry eventually landed her the position as super star performing artist Prince's personal assistant and later as coordinator at his recording studio Paisley Park Studios, working a total of 6 years for the Artist.
Her longstanding interest in environmental and sustainable issues blossomed when she moved back to Sweden in 1999 where she entered the recycling and biogas production industries. Her career continued into information, marketing and business development.
When offered to be part of the team at Living in the BalticSea, Petra said “Yes”! The opportunity to work for this cause in combination with art, design, the environment and marketing was irresistible.
