Description
Stackhouse Frond is a perennial Macro Algae with flat and narrow leaves. The midrib is pronounced and there are many fine, lateral veins, which can be clearly seen with a magnifying glass. It has many irregular branches, which stem from the central axis. The leaves' width range from 0.6-12 mm and the branches are tapered towards the tips, which are often notched.
