Vegetation is living organisms obtaining their energy from sunlight via the process of photosynthesis. In the Baltic Sea the following groups are represented; Blue Green Algae, Green Algae, Brown Algae, Red Algae, Charophyta, Sea Grasses, Mosses and Lichens.
